I wanted to take a few minutes to thank you for the outstanding service we received from Sandium regarding the purchase and installation of our new Heat Pump System. When our old system failed we spoke with Sandium as well as several other contractors. We proceeded to obtain three quotes. Not only was the quote acceptable, Sandium was willing to work with us on some requirements the other contractors would not.

No one else was willing to go the extra mile and work with us on that. That was one of the many deciding factors for us in choosing Sandium to do our job. We found the team to be very professional, extremely responsive to phone calls and our multitude of questions. All the administrative work (i.e. permit, billing PGE rebate forms, tax credit) was processed with ease. All the prep work, actual installation and post work was accomplished with no clean up our end! Our home was spotless.

Sandium provided outstanding service.

I am thrilled with my new heating and cooling system from Sandium. All Sandium members did an excellent job in their respective field of expertise. The system is inaudible and provides comfort we have not experienced with any system installed in the past. I am especially fond of the feature that allows us to set the temperature desired in each room. If you are looking for a company that provides great service, high end products at a reasonable price - look no further!

The crew is spectacular.

Clearly the HVAC installation team knows what they are doing. From the start of the job there was very little discussion about who does what and there was not much of anyone directing anyone; they worked as a well rehearsed unit. The sheetrock ceiling cutouts for the registers were precise and clean, very little dust escaped them. The plumbing and electrical was laid out and installed in a clean and organized fashion. Ducting was well sealed, wrapped and insulated. The ceiling deck was made spacious and well laid out. If I was asked to rate the entire company on a 1-5 (5 being Best), I would give those guys a 10!

Today Sandium and Michael Lee completed installation and testing of a very high efficiency heat pump heating and cooling system in my home. I feel very fortunate to have discovered them, had the opportunity to work with them, and have them do the job.

A very high priority for me was to have a system that would be the most efficient possible in the heating mode especially at cold outside temperatures. Mike worked with me to find the system of a manufacturer that was not one they normally deal with including one part from even another manufacturer to make it more efficient. Mike's mechanical engineering degree and technical expertise from having worked for an air conditioner manufacturer I'm sure were invaluable in accomplishing all of this - other contractors did not seem willing or able to go the "extra mile" to do this. Mike also talked me through and contacted the manufacturers about some facets of the job where I had concerns that maybe there might be a better way. He and his crew also went the extra mile to ensure minimum duct leakage (which came in at a very commendable 3.3%) and to reduce noise to a minimum, often at no extra cost to me.

I was also very pleased that no up front payments were required (as were with so many other contractors), and that they have the 100% satisfaction guarantee for the first year. I believe only one other contractor offered me that. The cost was very competitive with (and less than many) other contractors that didn't offer the expertise and service) that I found at Sandium.

I would recommend Sandium to anyone considering an HVAC system replacement, upgrade or repair without reservation.

I've got to tell you, you saved our Christmas! Me and my family are very greatful to you and Sandium. I called your company on the morning of 12/24, as my furnace wasn't working. I thought that we would have to go to find warmth at a friend's house for Christmas, how can you expect to get a new furnace installed on the day before Christmas? I was afraid that I would have to spend $2K for a new furnace, and probably any other company would have made me buy a new furnace. Not Sandium, though, you guys are honest and straightforward. Your technician, Jacob came out and was able to fix the furnace, though it took him almost two hours, it really wasn't easy. Jacob is a very experienced and professional technician. Again, I was ready to pay for a new furnace, but you saved me the expense this time.

I'll definitely have you guys replace my furnace in a few months, and thank you again! Mac I.
