Does Your Local County or City Offer Matching Incentives to the California Energy Upgrade Program?
In some cases, the state rebate may be matched 2 to 3 times by local counties and cities, providing up to $12,000 total rebate for your energy upgrade!
San Mateo County offers a special MATCHING incentive currently where they match the state refund—so homeowners in the county can earn up to $8,000 for doing energy upgrade work to their homes.
The City of San Bruno (within San Mateo County) now offers to additionally match San Mateo County's incentive, bringing the total rebate potential up to $12,000!
The City of Menlo Park offers an incentive to cover half, or in many cases, ALL of the cost of the initial Energy assessment.
Santa Clara County now offers to cover 80% of the cost of the Energy assessment.
