Michael Lee – President and Director of Engineering

Michael earned both his bachelors and masters degrees in mechanical engineering from Iowa State University.  His graduate work involved development of tools to use in conjunction with building energy analysis software.  After graduation he spent 11 years working for The Trane Company, a major comfort system manufacturer in various disciplines including building analysis tools development, comfort system controls, and commercial building performance contracting.  Michael co-founded Sandium in 2001 and is responsible for new system installation and engineering.
